بیانیه‌ی جمعی از فعالان برابری جنسیتی و LGBTQ+ در ایران

این روزها خیابان‌های ایران در تلاطم است؛ تلاطم ناشی از مبارزات مدنی برای آزادی، برای مقاومت در برابر ظلم و استبداد

جمهوری اسلامی. این مقاومت، که درس آزادی برای تمامی مردم جهان است، به معنای واقعی کلمه، برای مردمی که ظلم و استبداد حاکمیت تمامیت‌خواه و دیکتاتور جمهوری اسلامی را با پوست و گوشت و خون و استخوان چشیده‌اند، خود زندگی است.

بدیهی است بخش چشم‌گیر و قابل توجهی از این مردم که در کف خیابان‌ها و در قیام علیه تاریکی و استبداد حضور دارند، اعضای

جامعه‌ی LGBTQ+ ایران می‌باشند؛ قشری از مردم که به درازای حاکمیت جمهوری اسلامی از قوانین تبعیض‌آمیز و خشونت‌بار آن

شدیدترین ضربه‌ها را خورده‌اند، از احکام غیرانسانی شلاق و اعدام برای روابط غیر سیس-هت تا ترویج و مشروعیت بخشی به خشونت و تبعیض علیه تک تک اعضای این جامعه در تمامی ارکان.

ظلم رفتنی است و آنچه می‌ماند، شجاعت و آزادگی مردم در قیام و مقاومت در برابر آن است و قیام امروز مردم ایران و قیام اعضای جامعه‌ی LGBTQ+ ایران علیه ظلم و با هدف ریشه‌کن کردن آن، نمونه‌ی بارز و شفاف این اصل است. اعضای جامعه‌ی LGBTQ+ ایران، با وجود سالیان سال سرکوب و کشتار، همراه با سایر مردم، هنوز چون سرو در برابر ظلم ایستاده‌اند و ندای شجاعت، مقاومت و آزادی را در سراسر جهان طنین افکن می‌کنند.

بنابراین، اکنون زمان آن رسیده که جهانیان و به ویژه سران کشورهای جهان اگر که واقعا به اصول آزادی، برابری، دموکراسی، و اعلامیه‌ی جهانی حقوق بشر باور دارند، بی‌تفاوت از این مقاومت عبور نکرده و در کنار این مردم بایستند. جو بایدن، رئیس جمهور ایالات متحده‌ی آمریکا در نطق امسال خود در سازمان ملل متحد به حمایت دولت ایالات متحده از حقوق زنان و جامعه‌یLGBTQ+ اشاره کرد، پس باید به یاد داشته باشد که در حال مذاکره با حاکمیتی است که مبنای آن بر آپارتاید جنسیتی و ستیز همه‌جانبه با اعضای جامعه‌ی LGBTQ+ استوار است. امانوئل مکرون، رئیس جمهور فرانسه، اگر به واقع به اصول آزادی بیان و برابری معتقد است، باید پیش از دست دادن و رایزنی با رئیس جمهور حاکمیتی که به صورت علنی در سخنرانی خود نسبت به افراد گی، لزبین و بای*، حمله کرده است، با خود فکر کند که تا چه حد در عملکردش به این اصول پایبند است؟!

ما اعضای جامعه‌ی LGBT+ و فعالان برابری جنسیتی ایران، خطاب به تک تک سران کشورهایی که خود را معتقد و متعهد به حقوق بشر می‌دانند، از پادشاهی متحده‌ی بریتانیای کبیر و ایرلند، جمهوری فرانسه، جمهوری فدرال آلمان گرفته تا دولت مشترک المنافع کانادا و ایالات متحده‌ی آمریکا به صراحت و قاطعیت می‌گوییم، امروزه که عموم مردم ایران با تمامی تفاوت‌های خود، با همدیگر متحد شده و شانه به شانه در برابر حاکمیت ظلم، تاریکی، جهل و استبداد جمهوری اسلامی مقاومت می‌کنند، آن‌ها نیز این وظیفه‌ی خطیر بر عهده دارند تا با سران این رژیم خودکامه و دیکتاتوری بر سر میز مذاکر ننشینند.

در چنین شرایطی، هر گونه قرار داد و توافق با چنین حاکمیتی به معنای تائید قتل و عام و کشتار میلیون‌ها فرد و به ویژه‌ی اعضای جامعه‌ی LGBTQ بوده و برگی خونین در تاریخی روابط بین‌الملل کشورهای شما خواهد بود.

Collective Statement of LGBTQ+ Equality Activists Inside Iran

This statement was prepared by members of the LGBT+ community inside Iran, and is being distributed by concerned members of the LGBT+ community in the Iranian diaspora at their request

For days now, Iran’s streets have been turbulent: a turbulence born of civil struggles for freedom and resistance to the injustice and tyranny of the Islamic Republic. This resistance – a lesson in freedom for all the world’s peoples – is a matter of life or death for the people who have felt the injustice and tyranny of the Islamic Republic’s totalitarian dictatorship in their skin, flesh, blood, and bones.

It is clear that a considerable number of the people present in Iran’s streets, now rising up against darkness and tyranny, are members of the LGBT+ community: a group that has long been one of the most harmed by the Islamic Republic and its violent, discriminatory laws, from flogging and execution for non-cishet relations to the promotion and legitimation of violence and discrimination against all its members, across all parts of Iranian society.

The injustice is bound to be defeated. That which shall remain is the bravery and free-spiritedness of the people in rising against and resisting it. The rising of the Iranian people, including members of the LGBT+ community, to root out injustice is a shining example of this principle. Alongside all Iranians, members of Iran’s LGBT+ community, despite years and years of repression and killing, have stood like cedars against injustice, all their branches rustling with courage, resistance, and freedom for the whole world to hear.

The time has now come for people all over the world, especially world leaders – if they really do believe in principles of freedom, equality, democracy, and the Universal Declaration of Human rights – to not pass by this resistance indifferently, and to stand beside the people of Iran. US President Joe Biden, in his recent address to the United Nationals, spoke of the United States’ support for the rights of women and the LGBTQ+ community. It must be recalled that he is engaged in negotiations with a government is based on gender apartheid and the comprehensive bigotry against the members of the LGBT+ community. French President Emmanuel Macron, if really committed to the principles of free speech and equality, must consider the consistency of his beliefs and actions before shaking hands and meeting with a president of Iran who has openly attacked gay, lesbian, and bisexual people in his public speeches.

To all world leaders who think themselves committed to human rights – from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the Republic of France, the German Federal Republic to the Commonwealth of Canada and the United States of America – we members of Iran’s LGBT+ community, and gender equality activists say resolutely, and in no uncertain terms: now that ordinary Iranian people, with all their differences, have united and are standing shoulder to shoulder against the injustice, darkness, ignorance, and tyranny of the Islamic Republic, a solemn duty weighs upon you not to sit at a negotiation table with the leaders of this dictatorial, authoritarian regime.

In such conditions, any sort of agreement or deal with such a government would mean approval of the massacre of millions of people, especially members of the LGBT+ community, and mark a bloody page in the history of your countries’ international relations.
